Randy Young, Executive Director
Randy has been with Centex for 12 years, after working in business management and sales for over 30 years. Randy is a lifelong Temple, Texas resident and is married to Cynthia. They have a daughter and two grandchildren. He loves sports and is an avid golfer. Faith, family and helping men recover from addictions are his highest priorities.
Liz Hatter, Program Director
Liz has been Program Director at Centex for 19 years, having a total of 28 years in chemical dependency counseling. She raised three sons and now has six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Liz grew up singing Gospel traveled the world singing professionally with her sister. She really enjoys arts and crafts when time allow. Gospel music led her to a passion for helping others, especially for those in the bonds of addiction.
Robert Gortarez, Director of Operations
Robert Gortarez joined the Centex team in 2012. An Arizona transplant and retired funeral home owner, Robert continues to serve people. Robert’s favorite saying is “The purpose of human life is to serve, to show compassion and the will to help others.” Robert enjoys antique automobiles and spending time with his son exploring all that Texas has to offer.
Tammy Sosa, Executive Secretary
Tammy has been with Centex for 8 years. She has 32 years of business management experience and manages Centex’s accounting and payroll, and is always ready to help in other areas. She’s been in Texas since 1977, coming here from West Virginia. She is very proud of her two children and grandchildren. Tammy loves her two dogs and working with plants and flowers. Her lifelong wish has been to help others.
Laura Bridges, Compliance
Laura came to Centex in 2020, after 28 years as a civil service paralegal at Ft. Hood. She is a veteran of the U.S. Army, separating as a staff sergeant. She’s a certified teacher and teaches home school band part-time. Laura serves on the board of First Lutheran Church in Temple, TX, plays flute with a college orchestra, has Master Gardener certification and loves her 6 rescue dogs. Her heart is at Centex because she knows the suffering that addictions cause and wants to support those who are seeking recovery.
